Some Cardmaking Tips you may find useful

Add your own Cardmaking Tips and help others to learn from your experience.

We all know some really good tips that we have picked up over the years, some are very long standing and perhaps passed down from generations.

Perhaps your mum had some neat little tricks up her sleeve that she told you about that you have carefully stored at the back of your mind ... till now.

Maybe you have been making cards for many years and you know lots of little things that go to make life easier.

But the new card maker may not have heard about some of the cardmaking tips that you take as an everyday occurrence and so here is the place to pass on your knowledge, and willingly share with the newbie what you know.

Some of the things I have learned have come about because of a mistake that I have stupidly done, and we all make them, and sometimes more than once.

But when you stand back and look at the card at the end you think ... "Well that turned out OK..." so perhaps it was worth making the mistake for.

If you have done the same thing then let us know what it was and how you benefited from the learning curve that the mistake created.

One of the things  d regularly is add the card front to the base and put it on upside down !!

Share some of the techniques you know and love to do. Maybe it is decoupage, embossing, colouring, stamping in fact anything that you like to do.

Tell us your best storage ideas, or maybe something about your most favourite piece of equipment that you like to use, the one you just couldn't bear to be without.

Think about all the little things you do that you struggled with but are second nature to you now, and ask your self if someone else would benefit from this snippet of information that you have.

You may think it trivial but to someone else it is a valuable piece of information

All of the tips that are gathered here will be added to the website and they will be credited to you as the author, and by adding some tips here you will build your own page on the website where others can leave comments on anything that you have added.

What little snippets can you pass on to us all?

We all have things that we do to help our selves save money or time, maybe something that was passed down to you from your mum or grandmother.

I remeber my own mum always having a button jar, and in it she stored all the odd ones she found, and this was something I shared on the website.

You may know something that is quite simple that we may not have thought about, and yet when it is passed on we will say......"Wow! why didin't I think of that"

Don't be shy, share your treasures with fellow crafters.
