Cleaning scissors

I found this tip on another forum and it works wonderfully.
When your scissors get sticky from cutting foam tape, just spray them with WD40 and wipe it off with a paper towel.
Works like magic!

Thank you Valerie ... I have tried this and can vouch that it does work.

Before I start cleaning my nails with Cutex remover, I quickly pull the cotton over my scissors used that week. It removes all glue and other stickiness from double sided tape, etc.

WD40 what a brainwave! I have tried acetone nail polish remover, didn't work for me somehow, also white spirit - does not always work and rubber stamp cleaner didn't work.

Will give the wd40 a go. Thanks so much

Nail polish remover also works great to get foam off of scissors.
