Is there a special occasion in your part of the world?

People from all over the world are starting to visit this site, and many of those countries have a Special Occasion they celebrate that is unknown to the rest of us in other parts of the globe.

If you have something in your country that you would like to share, then here is the place to do it.

You might like to tell us about the particular occasion and how the people celebrate it, how long does the event last for, and who is most involved ... adults, children, men or women or is this a family occasion that everybody shares.

How often does it come around, and what do you do to take part in it... is there a special costume that needs to be worn.

Is there a carnival that accompanies this occasion and does it take the form of a parade through your streets.

Do people come from over the world to take part or to watch the event.

You may be a seasoned card maker, or it may be the first card you have ever made, but please don't be shy, share with us your story and your creations.

We would love to know something about your celebration and what it entails ... and we would love to see the cards that you make around this time.

Even if this is a card that you have made for someone elses celebration it is still something that you have created and so of interest to the other visitors to the website.

And they will leave you some lovely comments on your contributions.

Is there a special occasion you have made a card for?

Is there a special occasion, for which you have made a card?

If your answer is "Yes" then please feel free to share it with others.

We would love to hear your story and see a picture of the card you made.

Give the card a name so that you can identify it on the website.

There are many interesting topics that inspire the card maker, and we can all learn from the occasions in your part of the world.

Tell us what you used and how long it took you to make it. Share with us the occasion and it's specialness.

How did the recipient react and how did you feel at the response?
