Two Wedding Crds

Both cards are c6 size. I used the same stamp for both cards and embossed using a heat gun and gold embossing powder.

The first card I used an embossing folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug for the background.
I then cut round the stamped embossed image with decorative scissors and inked the edges in gold to define it.

I used a lovely piece of gold organza ribbon to place down the left edge of card and finally added a gold sentiment to finish.

The second card I used some hearts backing paper and adhered it to the card using glue stick. I placed the stamped embossed image on to a gold mat and then laid it on to the backing paper using double sided tape.

I wrote the sentiment using embossing pen then added gold powder and heat embossed it. I matted it to gold card to frame the wording and added small gold heart gems. To the left I placed gold elastic string and tied in a bow.

Wedding cards are always very popular and some really beustiful designs can be used fot this occasion.

These are both lovely and the gold would fit in with any wedding theme.

Embossing is a great way to make the image or the sentiment stand out and I am sure that both of these were well received on the occasion.
