I like this very much, I have a family of men and one grandson,but still find thinking of cards for men hard, love this one.

You are right when you say choices are more limited for men. You can't select many girly colors or embellishments. But if you go with a hobby, you can't go wrong. And if it's heart- and handmade...what can be better..

Did something vaguely similar a while ago for my son in law but backed it with manuscript for Happy Birthday. Liked the edging on yours, very pretty.

This card is beautiful. I have the same problem when it comes to cards for men and boys. My Sunday School class boys don't seem to care what the card looks like but I noticed that the men in our church pay more attention to them. I just send Birthday cards to them from my husband and myself. Sort of generic so as not to give the wrong idea. LOL
I love your card and it has given me some good ideas for my next try at a masculine card. Thanks for placing this one in the gallery.
