The jolly season will soon be here and this Christmas Bauble card will get you started on some of the cards you may need to make.
Perhaps you just have one or two to make or maybe you have hundreds that you will sell for your self or for a charity that you support.
Whatever the reason making a start on them with plenty of time can be the best way to go.
And what we all need is a simple easy idea that can be adapted for lots of cards without you getting bored in the process.
This little idea can be changed every time you make it to keep you fresh.
Change the shape and size of the baubles.
Alter the pattern that you stamp on the card, or use a different color for the embossing powder.
This pretty card is all hand cut and so easy to do. Maybe you don't have Spellbinders, or cannot get them in your country.
With this idea you don't need them and you don't need to be able to draw either.
All you need is the coincidence to free hand cut the shape that you have drawn ... and whats more it doesn't have to be perfect.
If you create the interest to the front of your card then the recipient will see the overall effect and not the little things that are causing you the concern.
Making cards should be fun and not a stressful time ... so don't worry if things aren't exactly symmetrical ... who cares ... only you.... and if you don't tell them they won't know
Sit back and enjoy the video and then get out all the Christmassy paper that you have lurking in your craft box and get busy making some cards.
I have used a snowflake embossing folder from Crafters Companion for the front and inside panels and tied some co-ordinating ribbon around the inside one to marry it to may color scheme
I have used Diamante flourishes from Want2Scrap to make it look more special
And the little sentiment is cut from the word set from Tattered Lace
Such an easy and pretty effect and I hope you will try this Christmas Bauble Card for yourself.
Get the kids involved making these cards for their friends and it will keep them quiet for hours ... plus they will have something truly personal to give to "Wow" their friends with.
Show them how to sign the back of the card with
Handmade by ... their name "
and enjoy the process
