Playing around with paper was probably something we all enjoyed doing when we were children, if only to make paper hats for parties, or the simple folded variety to pretend we were pirates.

Some of us made snowflakes by tearing paper into lovely shapes and adding them to the windows at Christmas time.

Or maybe it was paper chains to festoon the ceiling in bright colours. They were so easy to make and they hung from every available space.

Did you ever make paper boats...and wondered why they sank in the bath!

Many people make beautiful things as gifts, especially for a special occasion. And the Japanese art of Origami always looks so intricate.

Well now you can make some simple items for your cards, because here are some ideas that you can do easily by following each of the steps.

Some of the techniques used have also been covered in the Tutorials which are short and easy to follow, but are ideal for people that prefer to learn by watching, so why not give them a try and see what you can do.

There are ideas for things to add to your cards, to make your own envelopes or boxes to send your cards in.

All the links below will take you to a new page with all the information you will need on each of the projects.

I hope you enjoy them as you click your way through some of these ideas for Papercrafts.
