Spellbinders Botanical Swirls

A beautiful die but Spellbinders Botanical Swirls confuses many people once they get it home.

This is one of the expandable dies that can create the most stunning of backgrounds.

But often once the die is bought and taken home it is perhaps not as clear as it should be as to how to make the die work for you.

It may be that you have seen it demonstrated somewhere and thought that the pattern is just what you need for a special background.

And then once you have opened the packet and run it through your die cutting machine with your best piece of card  ... disappointment looms.

Oh No!!!  It doesn't look the same as it did when you watched the demonstrator and now you can't remember what to do with it.

Have no fear ...  help is on hand in this short video tutorial and all you need to do is learn where to cut the die correctly once it has been through your machine.

Snipping in the right place will unfold all the beauty of this pattern for you to use.

So get your cuppa and put your feet up for a little while as you watch the video

Create the pattern in a different color and layer it over a vibrant mirror card or some beautiful glitter card for a really special effect.

It look s wonderful with foiled card behind it too and you can add pearls on the flourishes in the pattern  for another effect that will make the card stand out from the crowd.

The embellishments that you add to your design can make all the difference  to what could be an ordinary card ... and we all strive to make cards that have the "Wow" factor.

The flowers on this card are a selection from Wild Orchid Crafts

I hope that the video tutorials and the projects on the website will go some way to helping you with your card making.

Either with the first tentative steps if you are new ... or improving what you already know if you have been making cards for a little while.

And don't forget to add your cards to the Gallery Pages and share what it is you have made.

It is very easy to do and you can add four photos at any one time, maybe four different cards or the same card from different angles.

But you will create your own page on the website and the more you add the bigger your page will become.

You can send all your friends over to view your creations and they will be there for the world to see.

Try out this tutorial and be the first to add your card with Spellbinders Botanical Swirls
