When you buy your spiral bound notebooks it is important to make sure that the spiral can be opened.

Some have the wire running through in one continuous run and these are NOT what you need as the spiral will not open for you.

You need to be able to open the spiral up completely and gently so as not to bend it out of shape.

Then you will be bale to remove both the covers ready for you to work on them.
