Using double sided tape

I use double sided tape all the time but it is very unforgiving and once it is stuck, so are you... if you haven't got it quite right!
But if you rub some glue stick over the double sided tape, it gives you a little more flexibility to move your card into position.

A really good tip Kathy, and it also works on foam pads too, giving you just that little bit of extra time to get it right.
But my favourite glue is Pinflair because it is very workable, doesn't smell, comes with a syringe to apply it, and last for six weeks in the syringe and forever in the tube...
