Storage Containers

If you have an ice cream parlour near you ask if you can collect some of the containers they use.

They often have to pay to send them to refuse sites, so are only too pleased to give them away.

Being pure white they make brilliant stacker boxes to put on shelves and are brilliant to store all your bits and pieces in, also being not too big and heavy to lift of shelves

Christina says ...

What an excellent tip for everybody to share and thank you for sending it in. Most Crafters have piles of bits and pieces lying around the room and that pile seems to get bigger everyday.

And we are always looking for neat storage ideas that don't cost the earth. I can see us all dashing off to the nearest ice cream parlour now to get some of their surplus tubs.

They won't take up too much room and will hold a multitude of items safely, neatly and to hand.

Label the boxes with a marker pen so that you will always know what they store.

You could decorate each box with an image of what is inside or just make it pretty to match the color scheme in the room ... that way they will blend into the background a little more.

But they would be much better with the ice cream still in them .... especially chocolate ... with Pistachios in it... and ... and ... Mmmm!
