On Safari Waterfall Easel Card

by Adie

Waterfall Card

Waterfall Card

The topic was "Safari".

I decided on a Waterfall card and found an old calendar with animals on it.

I scanned and printed the pictures and assembled the card, but it turned out to be too heavy for the cardstock.

So I decided to assemble it on the heavier card in the shape of an easel card.

I made and printed backing paper on the computer and voila ... a really nice card.

It took about 4 hours, after all the changing direction, but the lady who receivd my card was very happy with it.

I have been making cards for about 17 years I am a Parcher first but like to try and mix all the techniques together.

Christina says ...

I love the look of Waterfall Cards as they are so different yet easy to make.

Combining two styles of cards is bound to keep your interest going with cardmaking and there are many styles that will conbine well together.

On the website you will find the Gatefold Easel Card and this is also an easy card to create.

I love your Safari theme Adie and again we see the use of re-cycling materials, with the old claneder, rather than buying new stuff.

Old cards can also be used in this way, as well as postcards and magazine pictures. A sure way to keep the cost of your cardmaking down ....and that way you can buy more "Bling" instead... Yes??

I love the charms that you have added to the card in the shape of the horse and the Rhino. They certainly add to the safari theme.
