Whitmans to the rescue!

by Correna
(Gansevoort, New York, USA)

I use Whitmans candy boxes for storage because they are very sturdy. They can be decorated and labeled if you wish. I store scissors and other tools for cardmaking in them, and use the boxes if I need to take them with me someplace.

I also store my instructions in a 3 ring binder with the pages in plastic sleeves, like report covers, I also put patterns of instructions in there as well.

Thanks for these handy tips, and I am sure that after the Christmas treats we all have lots of empty boxes and tins of all shapes and sizes.

They can of course be used to store lots of things from ribbons, buttons, and brads to stamps, inks or die cuts you may want to keep safe.

I also use ring binders to store information in and I label mine with a permanent marker along the spine so that I can see what is in them as they stand on my shelf.
