storing unmounted stamps

by Sue Stanger
(Australia)

Hi everyone my name is Sue and I live in Australia.

I've been having a clean out of my craft room and in doing so came across so many stamps that I forgot I had. I'd been storing them in a container.

So taking myself in hand I decided to try something different. I've taken, them still on their clear sheets, put double sided tape on them, placed them onto white cardstock so I can see them better put that into clear folders then placed that into a 4 ring folder.

Now I only have to label the folders so I can see at a glance whats inside. No more now where's that stamp for me.:)

storing unmounted stamps.

I would just like to warn people not to make the same mistake I made. I thought I would store mine in cd cases, and they looked so nice in their stand, BUT beware if you have done the same thing please check on your stamps as mine seemed to have a reaction and have went all gooey sticking to the case. I have been fortunate enough to be able to salvage them. I am going to try out puting them in a folder.

Christina, this is very useful information. I have mine scattered in little boxes. High time I put them in order. Thanks for the tip.
