A lovely way to welcome a
New Baby

This is a truly wonderful time to send a card, to welcome the New Baby, and one that will be treasured by the parents for years to come.

A New Arrival is always a good reason to send a card and this type of card is a pleasure to make

And what could be better than one you have made your self

Pretty In Pink

There are so many ideas around for this Special Occasion and so many ways that you can dress this card

Baby girl cards can have all the flowers, ribbons and pearls attached to make them really pretty

Mind you I have never known a baby boy complain about flowers on their cards !!

The only limit is your imagination and if you shop around you will find embellishments like the baby feet, bibs, toys and #so much more.

The flowers and lace that I have used on my cards is from Wild Orchid Crafts  and they have a wonderful selection of both for all budgets

There is a video for a complete  Baby Onesie Card  that is very easy to create

And here's one for the little boy who has made an appearance into the world

The baby feet have been coloured to blend with the card and the video will show you how I did that

So make that cuppa and sit back and relax while you watch the video on how to make some really lovely baby cards

Blue for a Boy
Baby word card

There are some beautiful, soft papers around and the embellishments that you put on the top can make it even more special.

This would be a lovely place to add a charm to a little girls card

But don't forget to tell the parents that the charm is detachable, and so can start off a charm bracelet for her when she grows up.

Or why not make a "Keepsake Card" for the parents to treasure, in the form of a Memory Book.

This can be filled with little milestones in the babys life.

Those first photos, or the baby's identification band.

Maybe a pressed flower from a bouquet or a special telegram sent to welcome the new arrival.

Another really special idea is the
Baby Pram Card

All these are cards you will be proud to give so don't forget to put on the back...
