Glitter Stamping

by Faith

I love using glitter on the flowers that I add to my cards, but I wanted to take the glitter a step further... and use it on my stamped sentiments.

I wasn't quite sure how to do that, but then I found an inkpad at Hobby Lobby called a 'Palette Stamp and Stick Gluepad'.

You use it just like a regular inkpad and stamp your sentiment, but then you heat the stamped image for a few seconds using a heat gun, and sprinkle with glitter.

Tap off the excess, let set for a few seconds, trim out or die cut... and add to your card!

I've found that the glitter stays on quite well, but you can add a sealer (I've done a light coat of spray adhesive) over it before you trim it out if you like... just to be sure that it will stay.
