Happy New Year....

Here we are in another New Year and I hope you all had a good holiday.

Welcome to all the new visitors to the website, it's good to have you on board for 2011.

I send a really special greeting to those of you who have been with me for the past year and I thank you for your support.

I hope you will continue to visit through 2011 and beyond.

The snow has all gone from my town now and it is considerably warmer, though hardly spring weather... yet!

Some of you have had it really bad, especially those of you in America.

My two grandaughters where going to Florida for "New Year" and their flight was delayed by two days due to the snowfall on the East Coast of America.

But they eventually flew out of England on the 29th so all ended well for them.

Anyway it is now time for me to get back to some work and add some new pages to the website, and I hope you will enjoy them.

I have lots of new projects planned for the coming months and some more videos to add which will show you some new techniques that you may like to try.

There are 17 already on the website and they are all short ones ... so you won't have time to fall asleep.

This Easy stepper Card is very easy to do and a lovely way to fold your card.

Take a look you may find something new that will hopefully inspire you to give it a try.

A novel technique that has been added is the Faux Wood Effect.

It makes a good base for your male cards.

Try it in different colours, and if you keep them pastel it will look good as a background on your "Floral Cards" too.

Hand Written Text was added in December, and it has been so popular that I have included it again.

It doesn't matter if your writing isn't neat, with this technique the scruffier the better. Just play and have fun.

If you add the text to a seperate piece of paper first then it doesn't matter if you make a mistake, at least you won't have spoiled the whole card.

Just start again until you are happy, and then mat and layer the phrase, and fix the completed piece to the front of your cards.

Thank you to those of you who tried it and took the time to let me know.

Printers are something I am often asked about, and you don't need to spend a fortune to get the results that you want.

I have two and neither one was expensive, and both are used with laptops.

I use a 160gsm paper to print on and I have never been dissapointed with the results.

Distressing Inks are something you may like to try for some fantasy finsihes.

In the coming months I will cover more things that you can do with this product very, very easily. Watch this space.

Card Making Magic will be two years old in March and it was my first venture into building a website.

It was avery steep learning curve and I couldn't have done it without the help of SBI.

This is the company that gives me all the resources I need to make my website successful.

It also takes the wonderful and warm visitors that find my website every day, and I am amazed that they come from around the world.

Site Build It!

Thank you for everything and if you want to know more about building your own website then click the link to SBI.

The Sitemap wiil show you every page that is on the website. They are all listed to help you find your way around.

It's a good place to start, or come back to, if you want to find something in particular.

As always I am sending a really Special "Thank you" for all your emails and news.

It is lovely to get them and learn about the things that you enjoy doing.

I am asking for your support in my new adventure too.

2011 sees me building a New Website.

It is in the very early stages yet and I have my fingers crossed that it will be as successful as my first one.

So....drum roll please.... Let me introduce you to......Tah Dah!!

Easy-DIY-Solutions

I have lots of ideas for this new venture and I will be adding videos for some of the projects.

If you have a spare momnet or two please take a look. It is only just starting and has a long way to go but it is something I am very excited about.

Wish me luck.

Best wishes
